Hello! If you’re here you’ve found me on Craigslist and I’m glad you’re stopping by.

After playing guitar for over 25 years, I can honestly say that playing guitar can be such a joy, a total release of creative freedom.

It also can be overwhelming, not knowing whether to learn scales, music theory, exercises or more chords.

All of the books, videos, and free lessons are fantastic sources but they all share one critical limitation: they can’t hear you.

If you really want to get better there comes a time when you need to have an instructor who can hear what’s possible and can:

  • put you and your interests in the center
  • work with you in your own learning style
  • help you see your next step to avoid getting stuck or bored
  • help you be a master of what you already know how to play

I would like to help you. I’m Bryan Wade and I have over twenty five years of experience. Playing guitar is my favorite thing to do. I love it so much I’ve oriented my life around it. I’ve helped hundreds of musicians enhance their skills.

“Bryan doesn’t teach the guitar as just instrument, he teaches it to you like it’s an extension of what you think, what you are feeling. Even if I wasn’t able to practice for a day or as long as I wanted to, I know from having learned with Bryan that there is always a connection to it.”

Marlene B.

“I like that Bryan is a very down-to-earth teacher. I immediately felt comfortable working with him, and knew that my playing would improve with his guidance. Bryan has helped me see many things about my guitar playing that might easily have gone unnoticed, including elements of technique, style, and rhythm. Bryan has shown me how to relax, listen deeply, and take risks without worrying about perfectionism.”

Shawn O.

“Bryan is incredibly kind, caring and patient. He seems to totally get who you are and what will help you to move forward. When I’m struggling with something new and just not getting it, he’ll find another approach that works better for me. Before studying with Bryan I played basic 4 chord folk-rock. Now we’ve also explored blues, jazz and samba; it’s changed the way I hear and play music.  ”
